Blackmail

1. The making of any unwarranted demand with menaces; this with a view to gain for himself or another or with intent to cause loss to another.

2. Unwarranted = without the belief that:
a) one had reasonable grounds for making it and
b) that the use of the menaces is a proper means of enforcing the demand.
